How to find us
By road:
From the north, take the A7 or A68 to Hawick or Jedburgh, then the B6399 from Hawick, or the B6357 from Jedburgh;
From the south, take the A7 north from Carlisle, and then the B6357 from Canonbie.
(If you are coming over the hill from the Langholm direction, or via Hermitage, please remember that these are single track roads with passing places and really are far from ideal for larger vehicles or anyone towing!)
Postcode for SatNav: TD9 0QD
There are bus services to the village from both Hawick and Carlisle, see link to bus timetables on the ‘Useful Links’ page.
By rail:
To cut a very long story short, we do not recommend that you attempt to arrive by train.
By sea or air:
We’re a fair way from the coast; and the promised airport never materialised, so best try using the roads!
